About Us


I am the owner of Saima’s Sweet Art a qualified pastry chef, cake artist, chocolatier and also specialised in afternoon teas.


The baking journey started about 7 years ago when I found it was the best way to keep my son busy and excited. And the little baking activities turned into hobby and the hobby turned into passion. First baking for friends and family then people started asking me to bake for their birthdays.


In 2011 I decided to take professional classes and learnt the chocolate making from Mark Tilling he is the world renowned chocolatier, winner of the UK Chocolate Master 2007 and 2009, also winner of the first Creme De La Creme. In 2013 I did my ABC Level 2 Diploma in General Patisserie and Confectionery with distinction. Also many short courses to keep myself update I also have the honour of working in Raymond Blanc’s Restaurant as Pastry, Afternoon Tea and Cold Starters/Salad Chef.

The cake decorating never stopped throughout this journey so I decided to turn my passion into my career and eventually said goodbye to my chef job and started my own business as I love creating new flavours, beautiful cakes which are not just pretty but also good in taste and bring the smile to customer’s faces. I try to create something new and exciting from my passion and experience.

The best part in customised baking and artisan cakes is that you put your heart and soul to create something which wows your customers. The trust my customers puts in me is the key to drive my passion. And when I receive a good feedback that is the actual prize of my hard work. I only not create beautiful cakes I also have many beautiful yummy tarts in my menu as well tea cakes and Afternoon tea in A box which is extremely convenient for any corporate event, conferences, picnic parties, and outdoor summer events.
