I am the owner of Saima’s Sweet Art a qualified pastry chef, cake artist, chocolatier and also specialised in afternoon teas.
Saima’s Sweet Art
Saima’s Sweet Art was established in 2017 when I finally decided to turn my passion into my business and said goodbye to my pastry chef job.
As the cake decorating has always been my passion and I love creating new flavours, beautiful cakes which are not only pretty but also good in taste bringing the smile to customer’s face.
The best part in customised baking and artisan cakes is that you put your heart and soul to create something which wows your customers. The trust my customers puts in me is the key to drive my passion. And when I receive a good feedback that is the actual prize of my hard work. I only not create beautiful cakes I also have many beautiful yummy tarts in my menu as well tea cakes and Afternoon tea in A box which is extremely convenient for any corporate event, conferences, picnic parties, and outdoor summer events.
How The Journey Started
The baking journey started in 2010 in the form of little activities to keep my son busy and involved which turned into hobby and that hobby turned into passion.. First baking for friends and family then people started asking me to bake for their birthdays.
Qualification & Experience
In 2011 I decided to take professional classes and learnt chocolate making from Mark Tilling the world renowned Chocolatier. In 2013 I studied patisserie and General Confectionery and achieved Distinction. The learning journey never stopped and I did many short courses in cake decorating.
In 2016 I Joined Brasserie Blanc and worked in Pastry Section under very experienced Head Chefs and gain the experience of patisserie, Afternoon Tea, Cold Starters and salad Chef.
